Our Background Jody Watts and Hal Rosenthal are full-time realtors on the North Shore of Boston. They have written a book to help homeowners sell their homes for top dollar fast, entitled "15 Ways To Sell Any Home For More Money Fast". Jody Watts was born and raised in Swampscott. As a graduate of Swampscott High School she knows the local market. She has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont. She also received her MBA in Marketing from Pace University. She has worked in high-tech start-up companies and specializes in employing technology for real estate marketing. In real estate she has earned Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Personal Relocation Specialist (PRS), Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS) and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designations. Hal Rosenthal also grew up on the North Shore. He raised his family in Swampscott and now resides in Salem. Hal graduated from Brown University and proudly served in the Navy.. Hal is a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR). Together, they bring the best customer service, strong analytical skills for pricing, top negotiating skills and a commitment to excellence. Jody has experience in Marketing and Sales in her prior career in telecommunications. She brings a wealth of knowledge in pricing, marketing and selling and photography skills to the team. Hal owned and operated a chain of retail stores where he perfected his negotiating and sales skills. As a small business owner he knows how important it is to be responsive and available. Hal handles showings, inspections and negotiating for the team. In Jody’s free time, she likes to coach and support her daughter who plays softball and basketball and she likes to garden. She also is a member of Swampscott’s Zoning Bylaw Review Subcommittee. Hal is an avid walker and is an active member in the Swampscott Rotary club and is involved in fundraising for local student scholarships.
